Community
Our Company has been involved with various other organisations to support community development and encouragement of healthy activities for the youth of Pakistan. We worked with Hisar Foundation, which is an institute that provides a platform for deliberating issues pertaining to the non-availability of water, food and livelihood amongst the poor and seeks relevant solutions for the water-food-livelihood nexus. LOTTE Chemical Pakistan joined hands with Hisar foundation and participated in seminars and forums aimed at finding logical solutions to the problems surrounding breaches in sustenance.
As an integrated corporate citizen, LOTTE Chemical Pakistan has strived to become further engaged with local communities despite divesting the bulk of our CSR expenditure to flood relief, LOTTE Chemical Pakistan continued to support health and education needs in and around Karachi.

Based on this list which included names and national ID card numbers of those affected in the area, the LOTTE Chemical Pakistan team visited each village, distributing food supplies, medicines and water.
With widespread disease and malnutrition as the two main issues being faced by the flood victims, LOTTE Chemical Pakistan distributed food bags each containing Rice, Flour, Sugar, Pulses (Dal), Cooking oil, Dry Milk, Tea, 1.5 Liter Water packs and Biscuits. Various medicines for chest infection, vomiting, diarrhea, painkillers, skin infection ointments etc were also distributed. With the help of local doctors from the Government Hospital, Tando Bago, the LOTTE Chemical Pakistan team set up on-the-spot medical camps and provided medication to the flood affectees.
